TIME TRIALS TO BE OFFERED AT WINTER NATIONALS AND WINTER JUNIORS
Fri, 5 Sep 2014 16:31:28 -0600 The 2014 AT&T Winter National Championships (Greensboro, NC) and Speedo Junior Championships (Federal Way, WA) will both be 3 ½ day events with a Long Course Time Trial on the morning after each meet. Bonus events will also be allowed for both events, although for the AT&T Winter Nationals, bonus events will be allowed for 18-under swimmers only.

Now, entering my third year, I have one concern: Can you give some advice on ideal eating? What I want to know are good foods and correct size portions. This way, I can cut out unneeded food.

He went to Australia to swim the open water Pan Pacific Championships, and ended up in Hawaii when conditions forced the event to be moved. The University of Georgia alum won the gold at Pan Pacs, and he’s back training with his father – and Katie Ledecky – as he explained last night for this week’s 20 Question Tuesday.

CIERRA RUNGE: GOING THE DISTANCE

As a member of the U.S. women’s team, she had the opportunity to work with her future University of California-Berkeley coach Teri McKeever, and not far away working with the men’s team was her North Baltimore Aquatic Club (NBAC) coach Bob Bowman.

The master’s in sports psychology student at the University of Tennessee won gold at Pan Ams in Rio in 2007 in the 800 free, and gold at the 2005 World Championships in Montreal. She talks about what she saw from the U.S. at Pan Pacs in Australia this time around, what she thinks we might see in Rio, and what her life in academia is really like in this week’s 20 Question Tuesday.
