Timing, Timing Systems, Meet Manager and Team Manager Clinic



This is a small guide to the clinic material online that was designed for the clinic.  It describes the various files that are available here on on the orderable CD.  We have compressed all of the documents and example files and put them in downloadable zip files except for the acrobat files.  The CD is available ofr $10.00 to cover materials and shipping costs.  If you would like the CD (since there is about 375 megabytes of files) send a check payable to John Lorimer, Lorimer Network Research Corp, 6122 Lewis Ct, Arvada, CO 80004 with a note of your name, organization name, address to ship to.  Once received you may freeley copy and redistribute the CDRom's contents.  Or download the individual components here.  We will be continuing development of training material for these subjects and posted here.

There is also an images directory with all the screen shots in it that were used in the creation of the Clinic Guide.

There is also 8 directories which have been compressed to zip with the relative path for the examples used in the Guide plus some extras for you to try working with.

  • CHSAAStnd:  NFHS standard meet database that was used to export the NFHS meet template.
  • gst4a0202:  CHSAA Girls 4A Meet database from February 2002
  • gst5a0202:  CHSAA Girls 5A Meet database from February 2002 plus the Meet Information for both meets.
  • HSTemplate:  NFHS Dual Meet Template Database.
  • jeffgl0202:  CHSAA - Jefferson County Girls League Championship Meet Database.
  • scjo0302:  CSI State Age Group Short Course Championship.  (This database has been altered to reflect the initial data from the timing console for events 67 and 83.  There are associated pdf files with the timing console output and lane timers sheets.  This is so you can walk through the time correction examples.  THere is also an example meet template that was exported.  There is also a copy of the meet database after entries were completed for using with the athlete registration check and proof of time.
  • sum1002:  Example TRFC meet (COED Events)  database and meet information.
  • wave1002:  Standard Open Meet with Meet Information and Exported Meet Template.  (This is the meet used for most of the examples in the guide).
